128 years. Surviving the late 19th century that nearly decimated European vineyards, these are pre-phylloxera Trebbiano Spoletino old vines. Meticulously cultivated using the now extremely rare 'vite ad alberello' method, they quietly yet powerfully express the terroir of Montefalco, surrounded by green mountains. From the strong Sagrantino that Montefalco prides itself on, to the elegant Montefalco Rosso, and the graceful rosé, all reflecting the unique character of the land. In recent years, they have also begun experimenting with Metodo Classico—the exploration of this small winery is far from over.
