Tasting Notes

Aromas of red berries such as cherry and raspberry are layered with delicate nuances reminiscent of white flowers.

On the palate, natural acidity and rich minerality spread, followed by a crisp and pleasant finish.

With an excellent balance of rich fruitiness and refreshing crispness, this appealing rosé wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a meal.

Pairing

It pairs exceptionally well with charcuterie such as prosciutto and salami, as well as olives and appetizers.

It also harmonizes beautifully with prosciutto pizza and light Italian dishes.

This versatile wine is perfect for a casual aperitif or a home party.

Winemaking

Grapes harvested by hand in early September are carefully soft-pressed and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, maximizing the fruit's inherent freshness and delicate aromas.

After fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 5 months on its lees with bâtonnage.

Further aging in the bottle for a minimum of 3 months imparts depth and a smooth texture while maintaining freshness.

About the Winery

Le Thadee is a winery in Umbria established in 2018 by the Natali family, who have a long history of grape cultivation.

They acquired excellent vineyards in Montefalco and manage every step from cultivation to winemaking and bottling.

Adopting organic farming methods, they practice winemaking that respects the inherent character of the land. They also own rare pre-phylloxera ancient vines that predate the phylloxera epidemic, passing down Umbria's historic terroir to the future.

Le Thadee's philosophy of pursuing high-quality winemaking despite small-scale production is also expressed in this rosé wine.
