Tasting Notes

A floral fruit aroma reminiscent of wild strawberries, raspberries, and mandarin oranges, layered with nuances of Mediterranean herbs and flowers.

On the palate, vibrant acidity and the rich minerality characteristic of Etna spread, offering an elegant taste with a saline note derived from the volcanic soil.

The fresh fruit flavor and delicate texture are harmoniously balanced, leading to a long, pleasant finish.

Pairing

Pairs well with a wide range of dishes, including seafood, shellfish, white meat, and vegetable dishes.

Recommended pairings include carpaccio, tuna tartare, grilled shrimp, and Mediterranean salads.

For Japanese cuisine, it harmonizes beautifully with dishes that highlight the natural flavors of ingredients, such as sushi, sashimi, and salt-grilled sea bream.

About the Winemaking

Nerello Mascalese grapes are hand-harvested from the high-altitude vineyards of Contrada Volpare.

The delicate rosé color is extracted through brief skin contact, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

The wine is then aged in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels, resulting in a style that balances freshness with complexity.
