A sophisticated white wine typical of Friuli, blending the richness of Friulano with the freshness of Sauvignon Blanc.
Delicate aromas of white flowers are complemented by citrus notes reminiscent of grapefruit and lemon. Fresh herbal nuances, along with a salty minerality derived from the soil, add complexity.
While fresh on the palate, it also offers a rich texture and umami from 12 months of contact with the lees. A beautiful balance of freshness and depth, this is a wine to enjoy with food.
Excellent with light appetizers such as tapas, seafood salads, and carpaccio.
It pairs beautifully with all fish dishes, as well as vegetable soups like gazpacho and grilled vegetables. Dishes featuring citrus and herbs will further enhance the wine's appeal.
The harvested grapes are carefully hand-sorted, and spontaneous fermentation occurs using only natural yeasts.
Both concrete tanks and stainless steel tanks are used for fermentation to bring out the inherent character and freshness of the fruit.
After fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for 12 months. This "sur lie" aging adds richness and complexity, resulting in a beautifully balanced flavor with harmonious minerality and texture.
